Ist Annual Chris Shumacher memorial Walleye tournament. Chris Was an avid lake Erie rainbow and walleye tournament fisherman. He was sadly taken from a result of tragic house fire in Rainham in May 2009. In his memory the Fisherville Fire fighters Association is hosting a tournament..


August 1, 2009
(00:01hrs to 16:00hrs)

1) Combined heaviest weight of two walleye
2) Draw Prizes available
3) Winning payout will be 1st = 40%, 2nd = 20%, 3rd = 5% of tournament proceeds. Rest will be donated to Fisherville Firefighters Association.
4) Weigh in Location: Fisherville Fire hall at 23 Erie St. Fisherville, ON from 08:00 to 16:00hrs. Lunch and beverages available. Questions Contact #: (905) 779-0007

Tournament Rules and Regulations:
1) All MNR Rules and Regulations apply.
2) Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified and criminal charges will be pursued.
3) Fish gaffed, netted, or snagged will be disqualified.
4) Fish frozen or previously caught will be disqualified.
5) All members in boat must have ticket.
6) Anyone found weighing in fish with non-ticketed members in boat will be disqualified.
7) Waters include Long Point Bay to tip of Long Point, Canadian Waters extending to the city of Port Colborne. Tributaries are not included except for Grand River downstream of Caledonia Dam and extending to Lake Erie.
